My name is Janet Bott and I am a fully qualified Government Approved Female Driving Instructor in Nottingham.
I provide lessons from one or more at any time whichever suits you and your spare time. I offer one week intensive and semi intensive courses too, though these are not for the faint hearted as they require time and dedication.
I have lived and worked in Nottingham all my life and my knowledge of Nottingham is extensive. I have worked for many companies from a small accountancy company up to the large Blue Chip organisation. My past employment experience has taught me how to engage with people, making me learn from mistakes and move on whilst always trying to remain a positive person. I have always thought about teaching and by chance it was someone else that saw the potential I had and made the suggestion of Driving Instructor and since then I’ve never looked back. I’m passionate about teaching and enjoy my job and love it that I meet many different people across all ethnic groups and enjoy the wide variety of teaching people of all ages and at all levels of ability.
Some new customers say to me that they are nervous so from the beginning I can put you at ease building up confidence gradually so that you really enjoy your lessons and driving. I always set a pace of learning around each individual’s needs as I respect that we are all different.
I teach to the Driving Standards Agency syllabus, making each lesson have a purpose and count and building up within each individual a set of skills allowing you to make decisions and be at the required standard in order to go to test, pass and be a safe driver of tomorrow.
